Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy, we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.
THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Site or the Portal.
The information we collect may include personally-identifiable information (“Personal Information”). Personal Information is information that can be associated with a specific person and used to identify that person (whether alone or in combination), such as first and last name, postal address, email address, telephone number, among other personally identifiable information. Personal Information does not include information that has been “de-personalized” so that it cannot reasonably be linked to a specific individual.
In connection with the use of the Portal, you may be asked to provide the following Personal Information:
Information Collected Automatically
Log Information: Log information is data about your use of the Site, the Portal and/or the Services, such as IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamps, and related data, which is stored in log files.
Information Collected by Tracking Technologies: Cookies, web beacons (also known as “tracking pixels”), embedded scripts, location-identifying technologies, device fingerprinting, in-app tracking methods, and other tracking technologies now and hereafter developed (collectively, the “Tracking Technologies”) may be used to collect information about your interactions with the Site, the Portal and/or the Services, including information about your browsing and activity behavior.
Cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s device, which may be a session ID cookie or tracking cookie. Session cookies make it easier for you to navigate the Site, the Portal and/or the Services and expire when you close your browser. Tracking cookies help in understanding how you use the Site, the Portal and/or the Services, and remain longer. The Site, the Portal and/or the Services may associate some or all of these types of cookies with your devices. Cookies may remain on your device for extended periods of time. The Help menu on the menu bar of most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, and how to disable cookies altogether.
Web Beacons (“Tracking Pixels”). Web beacons are small graphic images, also known as “internet tags” or “clear gifs,” embedded in web pages and e-mail messages. Web beacons may be used to count the number of visitors to the Service, to monitor how users navigate the Service, and to count content views.
Embedded Scripts. An embedded script is programming code designed to collect information about your interactions with the Service. It is temporarily downloaded onto your device from our web server or a third party with whom we work, is active only while you are connected to the Service, and deleted or deactivated thereafter.
Location-identifying Technologies. GPS (global positioning systems) software, geo-filtering, and other location-aware technologies locate (sometimes precisely) you for purposes such as verifying your location and delivering or restricting relevant content based on your location.
Some information about your use of the Service and certain Third-Party Services (defined below) may be collected using Tracking Technologies across time and services and used by us and third parties for purposes such as to associate different devices you use, and deliver relevant content to you on the Portal and/or the Services.
THE WAY WE USE INFORMATION
For the avoidance of doubt, communications to end-users may be provided via e-mail, push-notifications or SMS and such communications may include following information: auction updates, namely, status of the bids (acceptance or rejection of the bids by Auction Organizer, outbid), notification on status of the auctions (opening, stage amendment, closing), notification on the last chance to participate in an auction, status of debt portfolio submission (acceptance, rejection, moderation, amendment), status of the Participant (acceptance, rejection, moderation), new message on the Platform, status of the User (acceptance, rejection, moderation, password request), access to files granted, commercial offer uploaded by the Winner, etc. Such communications shall be considered as transactional.

Our third-party service providers may receive, or be given access to your information, including Usage Data, in connection with their work with us or on our behalf. Except as otherwise set forth in this section, these third-party service providers are prohibited from using your information for any purpose other than to provide this assistance.
Without limiting the foregoing, in our sole discretion, we may share aggregated information which does not identify you or de-identified information about you or information obtained from public sources with third parties our affiliates for the purposes of academic research.

Tracking Technologies Generally
Regular cookies may generally be disabled or removed by tools available as part of most commercial browsers, and in some instances blocked in the future by selecting certain settings. Browsers offer different functionality and options so you may need to set them separately. With respect to any future mobile apps, you can stop all collection of information via an app by uninstalling the app. Also, you may be able to exercise specific privacy choices, such as enabling or disabling certain location-based services, by adjusting the permissions in your mobile device.
Please be aware that if you are a resident of the European Union, you may disable use of the cookies by the Site, the Portal and/or the Services by indicating your lack of consent to their use in a pop-up notice you will see upon your first visit to the Site.
Please be aware that if you disable or remove Tracking Technologies some parts of the Site, the Portal and/or the Services may not work and that when you revisit the Site, the Portal and/or the Services, your ability to limit browser-based Tracking Technologies is subject to your browser settings and limitations.
Your browser settings may allow you to automatically transmit a “do not track” signal to online services you visit. Note, however, there is no industry consensus as to what site and app operators should do with regard to these signals. Accordingly, we do not monitor or take action with respect to “do not track” signals or other mechanisms.
